Situation 2 完璧すぎて怪しい

You：不動産屋さんが進めてくれたアパートは完璧すぎたんだ。

まったく理解できない。

うますぎる話しに対する疑念を表す定型句

Say It In English で「南極」の発音について、大西先生が次のような解説を加えておられました（私の聞き取りが正しければ）
…そして、南極。これは Antarctica /ænˈtɑːrk.tɪ.kə/ あるいは、/ænˈtɑːrk.tɪ.kə/ とおっしゃってもかまいませんよ。
Roza さんも後者の方で発音しておられたように思います。
さらに、二番目の問題でも、David さんは perfect を /ˈpɝː.fekt/ というよりは、/ˈpɝː.fekt/ と発音しているような気が…。
「旅する英会話」でも「音の脱落」の話がよく出ますが、速い上に（むしろ速いから）音も脱落して聞き取れない👂
でもサマー先生の話では、ネイティブもすべて聞こえているわけではない。
次に来る語（句）がどんなものか予想している。
そのような勘が働くためには、文法と音の変化の知識が大切と話されていました。
